ETHICAL PRINCIPALS AND PUBLICATION POLICY
EYZED is committed to the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing. The journal adheres to the publication ethics guidelines set forth by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
1. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are committed to the principles of impartiality, confidentiality, and transparency throughout the review process.

Publication decisions are based solely on academic merit, originality, clarity, and research ethics.

In cases of conflict of interest, editors must withdraw from handling the manuscript in question.

If one of the authors of a submitted manuscript works at the same institution as the editor, the editorial process will be overseen by an external editor or guest editor.

In cases of suspected ethical misconduct, procedures are carried out in accordance with COPE guidelines.
2. Responsibilities of Authors

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

All listed authors must have made a direct contribution to the content of the manuscript.

References to other works must be cited in accordance with APA 7th Edition rules.

Studies requiring ethics committee approval must upload the relevant approval document at the time of submission.

Datasets, codes, and methods must be shared with editors and reviewers when requested.

Authors bear full academic, ethical, and legal responsibility for their submissions.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must conduct evaluations objectively, confidentially, and in a timely manner.

Information or materials obtained during the review process may not be used for personal gain.

Reviewers must decline assignments if they face conflicts of interest or lack sufficient expertise.

Reviewers cannot be assigned to manuscripts authored by researchers from their own institution.
4. Publication Ethics Violations
The following are considered violations of publication ethics:

Honorary (guest or ghost) authorship

Duplicate submission to multiple journals simultaneously

Inappropriate, misleading, or discriminatory content within the manuscript
Manuscripts found to involve ethical violations will be retracted immediately, and the decision will be made public.
5. Ethics Committee Approval and Statement

Ethics committee approval is mandatory for studies involving human participants.

Approval documents must be uploaded to the system with the manuscript.

For studies not requiring ethics approval, authors must provide a brief explanatory statement.
6. Copyright and Open Access Policy
The journal is an open-access publication. Authors retain copyright, and all articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license.
7. Transparency and Plagiarism Check

All submissions are screened with similarity detection tools (e.g., iThenticate, Turnitin) prior to acceptance.

The similarity index should generally remain below 20% (excluding references).
